Stefano Matteucci was born in Teramo, Italy, and played his first violin notes in Rome.
Stefano's great passion is the cello, which he studied at Santa Cecilia's Conservatory. Music took him to London, England, to include national stages such as the Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Arena, 02 Academy, The Luminaire, and more.
Stefano has collaborated with artists including One Direction, Il Divo, Goran Kay, Urban Soul Orchestra, Blue, and Amalia Grè.

In 2008, Stefano founded D-EDGE for his original works. D-EDGE has recently released its fifth album.
